This contest is a KCBS sanctioned contest (as well as GBC qualifier) and has Professional, Backyard, and Kids Que divisions.

Kids Que competition (meat is ground beef and will be provided for cooks) will be on Saturday (16th) with a turn-in time of 2 p.m. and they will be given grills to cook on. Age groups will be 6-10, and 11-15. If not enough enter then we will combine groups.

Professional-- 12pm (Chicken), 12:30pm (Pork Ribs), 1pm (Pork Butt), 1:30pm (Brisket)
Backyard-- 12pm (Chicken), 12:30pm (Pork Ribs), 1pm (Pork Butt)
Kids Que-- 2:30pm for both age groups, kids will share grills two to a grill (Chef's Choice)
Cooking space size:
Cook spaces are generic 20'x30' for Pro, and 20'x20' in BY
Kids Que cooks will be provided grills and space to cook
Arrival & departure:
Teams may arrive from Thursday at 4 p.m., Friday morning at 8 a.m., or Saturday as necessary, but there is no extended stay through Sunday. Please break-down on Saturday evening.
Meat inspection & turn-in boxes:
Meat inspection will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday (15th) until 4 p.m. (or later if necessary). Turn-in boxes will be provided to teams after arrival.
There will be a cooks' meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evening in the judging area.
Grand $2,000 (includes heavyweight title belt)

Total Backyard Payout $2,000
1st Place in each age group award/trophy (still TBD)

PLEASE NOTE! NO REGISTRATION FEE, OR DEPOSIT, WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST ONE HAS PASSED. THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST A REFUND IS 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE. ALL REQUESTS AFTER THAT DATE MAY HAVE THEIR DEPOSIT/REGISTRATION FEE FORWARDED TO THE NEXT YEAR'S CONTEST FEE, BUT NO REFUND IS GIVEN AFTER THE DEADLINE.
Payment can be made by check, or by credit/debit card. Entrants can also pay $50 deposit upfront to register and save their spot, with a follow-up invoice that is due no later than November 1st, 2019. Anyone wishing to make credit/debit card payments will incur a small convenience charge at checkout.
Those totals with fees included are $306.83 (Pro), $204.55 (BY), $25.57 (KQ), and $51.14 (deposit).
