Annual GBC Awards Banquet
The second annual Georgia BBQ Championship Awards Banquet will be held Saturday,
January 28 at the Brasstown Valley Resort lodge in Young Harris, GA.
The banquet is your opportunity to enjoy a four star resort weekend with many
opportunities to network with your friends from Georgia'a Pro Barbecue circuit.
Organizers, cooks, judges and sponsors are all welcome!
In addition to the recognition of the year's winners, we have a variety of
activities planned of interest to BBQ People, including:
- KCBS CBJ Judging School
taught by Bunny and Rich Tuttle of Kansas City, MO
- Organizer's Roundtable: a great resource for current and future contest
organizers
- GBC Throw Down Contest: a bare-bones, off-season
contest that is a qualifier for The Jack

closer to the date of the Banquet. Of course the full facilities of Brasstown
Valley Resort are also available, including the stables, golf course, pool and
the popular Equani Spa..
